DAISY WAKEFIELD - SHE/HER
Daisy Wakefield is a multidisciplinary freelance artist and campaigner intertwining printmaking, illustration and animation to humorously commentate on political and societal issues in order to reduce stigma. Daisy tackles topics such as; gender, race, class and intersectionality through commissions, social media and public exhibitions.
Daisy is one of the UK’s leading Period Poverty activists. In 2019, she used a portion of her student loan to supply free sanitary products at her University of UWE.

Daisy is a regular public speaker for Period Poverty and sex-positive education at events such as; BBC Radio, The Labour Party, Manchester & Bristol University and panel discussions.
Daisy Wakefield is a resident artist for organisations and NGO's such as; BUFF Condoms, The Labour Party, FreePeriods, Bloody Good Period, Freedom4Girls and many more.
