Freedom4Girls are a Period Poverty charity based in Leeds and they run projects in East Africa, predominantly in Kenya and Uganda.
I have work with Freedom4Girls over the years for a variety of project, such as; panel discussions, fundraisers and most recently creative commissions.
I am a featured artist in their recent book "A Letter to my Younger Self".
I also recently designed their tote bags, which will be distributed around schools for their new campaigns.

"I first met Daisy through her activism work on addressing period poverty when she was at university. She agreed to sit as a panel member for our fundraiser. Not only was extremely well informed about the issues the event was raising awareness of, but she was a true supporter of our charity's work. Since that time, Freedom4Girls have worked with Daisy again where she has designed various female empowerment images for our work within our education programme. "I contacted Daisy, with an idea to design a tote bag, as part of a project to distribute well-being packs to young women in Leeds, around Period Poverty and Menstruation. I explained my design ideas to Daisy, she responded immediately, and came up with a few different designs, they exceeded my expectations, and it was actually difficult to choose the final design, as I liked them all.
She is really communicative, responsive and her passion shows in her work, will be contacting Daisy for future work, and would recommend."
